Delete an Article

Overview

You remove an article from its detail page. Deletion is intended for articles created in error or products you genuinely no longer handle.

Before you delete

Check that the article is not still in use. An article connected to purchase orders, risk assessments, or submitted Due Diligence Statements should not be deleted, because those records depend on it. If in doubt, keep it.

Step by step

1. Go to Master Data > Articles and open the article.
2. Select Delete article at the top right.
3. Confirm.

⚠️ Deleting an article removes it from master data, including its EUDR relevance setting. Treat deletion as permanent.

ℹ️ Regulatory context. A Due Diligence Statement is a legal declaration tied to the article it covers. Do not delete an article that has statements or active obligations against it. See the consolidated EUDR text.
