Edit a purchase order
Overview
You can update an order's details at any time with Edit Order. The articles on the order are managed separately, from the Articles Summary.
Before you start
- Open the order (Purchase Orders, then select its order number).
Step by step
- Open the purchase order.
- Select Edit Order.
- Update the order-level details: order number, company, destination plant, supplier, or order date.
- Save.
To change the articles on the order, use Add More to add articles, or manage them from the Articles Summary, rather than the Edit Order form. See Add articles to a purchase order.
Tips
- Changing the supplier on an order with EUDR-relevant articles affects the supplier and article pairs behind its risk assessment. Review the linked risk assessment after such a change.
Troubleshooting
- My article change is not on the Edit Order form. Articles are managed in the Articles Summary, not in Edit Order.
ℹ️ Regulatory context. The order underpins the due diligence for goods you intend to place on the EU market, so keep its supplier and details accurate. See the consolidated EUDR text.
