Production facilities and connected suppliers
Overview
The Associations tab of a company shows the records connected to it: its own production facilities, and the suppliers it deals with. This is where you see a company in the context of the rest of your data.
Before you start
- Open the company (Master Data > Companies, then select it) and go to the Associations tab.
Production facilities
Production facilities are the sites that belong to the company.
- On the Associations tab, find the Production Facilities section.
- Select Add New.
- Enter the facility's name and location, then save. If the facility shares the company's address, you can let it inherit that address.
Existing facilities are listed with their name, ID, and city and country. Open a facility to view it and edit its details in place; there is no separate edit page. Facilities can also be uploaded in bulk from the Companies page.
Connected suppliers
The Suppliers list is built automatically from mutual transactions such as imports and purchase orders. You do not add suppliers here by hand; they appear as you trade with them.
ℹ️ For EUDR, these connected suppliers are the ones you request due diligence data from during a risk assessment, including the plot geolocation the regulation requires. Their master data, production locations and documents are managed in the Suppliers section (see Manage Suppliers).
Tips
- Give production facilities clear, consistent names, since they are referenced in transactions and uploads.
Troubleshooting
- A supplier I expected is missing. The list reflects recorded transactions. If there has been no import or order with that supplier yet, it will not appear.
