Provide production locations and documents

Overview

The EUDR tab on a supplier holds the evidence that ties that supplier to specific land: the production locations (plot geolocation) and the compliance documents they have shared. This is the most important supplier data for EUDR, and it lives on the same supplier record you use for everything else.

Before you start

• The supplier exists in the Suppliers section (see Add a supplier).
• You have the plot geolocation, either to enter by hand or as a file, or the supplier is connected and can provide it themselves (see Invite a supplier to connect).

🟢 Why this matters. The EUDR requires the geolocation of every plot of land where the commodity was produced (Article 9). Without it you cannot demonstrate deforestation-free origin, and you cannot submit a valid Due Diligence Statement. This tab is where that geolocation lives for the supplier.

Production locations

Each production location is a plot of land, described by its geolocation. The table shows the Location Name, the Area in hectares, the number of Points (the vertices of the plot boundary), and when it was Last Updated.

Add a single plot

1. Open the supplier from the Suppliers list and select the EUDR tab (it is preselected while you work in the EUDR module).
2. In Production Locations, select Add New Location.
3. Enter the location's details and its geolocation, then save.

Add many plots at once

1. In Production Locations, select Upload Production Locations.
2. Provide the file of plots and confirm.

Manage existing plots

Use View, Edit, or Delete on any row to inspect or change a location.

ℹ️ A single point can describe a very small plot, while larger plots are described as a polygon of several points. The regulation sets when a polygon is required; see the consolidated EUDR text.

Compliance documents

The Compliance Documents block on the EUDR tab holds the EUDR-related documents this supplier has shared or you have uploaded for them, such as evidence of legal production. The block can be collapsed and expanded. For each document you see the file name, document type, file size and upload date, a risk-category badge, its validity or expiry state together with the EUDR article that drives it, and the linked mitigation measure. You can upload a document, and per document re-request it from the supplier, download it, or open its version history. These documents support the risk assessment.

Where this data usually comes from

In practice, a connected supplier often provides its production locations and documents itself, in response to a data request you send during a risk assessment. However it arrives, it is stored here on the supplier and reused across assessments. A supplier does not need to have held EUDR data before: the first location or document you add simply starts its EUDR record.

Tips

• Name plots consistently (for example by farm and block), so they are easy to recognise across assessments.
• Prefer polygons over single points for larger plots; they describe the boundary more precisely and stand up better to scrutiny.

Troubleshooting

• An uploaded plot did not appear. Check the file against the format kolum expects, then re-upload.
• A plot shows very few points. It may have been entered as a single point or a rough boundary. Edit it to add the full polygon where the regulation requires one.
• I cannot find the Business Partners page I used before. It was replaced by the Suppliers section. Open the supplier there; its EUDR tab holds the same locations and documents.
