Dashboard Filters
Every card and chart on the Dashboard is driven by the filter bar at the top of the page. Change a filter and the whole Dashboard recalculates, so you always look at one consistent period, one consistent set of imports and one consistent data basis.
Time filter
The first chip in the filter bar selects the reporting period you want to analyse.
- Choose a quarter (for example 2026 Q3) or a full year (for example 2026). The list offers the quarters since the start of the previous year and the full years for which you have imports, so you can always filter to the present period.
- On first load the Dashboard opens on the most recent quarter.
- The selected period applies to Top 10 Contributors, CBAM Costs, CBAM-relevant Import Volume and Embedded Emissions. CBAM Readiness has its own year selector and does not follow this filter (see the CBAM Readiness page).
Import filters
Six multi-select filters narrow the imports that feed the Dashboard. Each chip shows how many values are currently selected, and all values are selected by default.
- Import Type: Standard Import, Returned Goods, Inwards Processing - Import, Inwards Processing - Scrap.
- CN Code, Company, Country of Origin, Supplier and Article: the values that occur in your imports.
Open a chip to see the list. Each list has a search field plus Select All and Clear All buttons, so you can quickly focus on a single company, supplier or CN code and return to the full picture afterwards.
Emission Data filter
The Emission Data filter switches the data basis for all emission, certificate and cost figures.
- Actual & Default uses the emission data your suppliers have provided in kolum wherever it exists and falls back to EU default values for the rest.
- Default calculates everything from the EU default values for the CN codes and countries of your imports, regardless of the actual data you have collected.
- The Dashboard opens with Default selected, so every user starts from the same baseline. Switch to Actual & Default to see the effect of the supplier data you have collected. CBAM Readiness follows this filter as well.
CBAM Price
The CBAM Price selector sets the certificate price behind every cost figure on the Dashboard.
- CBAM Price uses the published CBAM certificate price, shown directly on the chip (for example €75.28).
- Custom Price opens an input where you enter your own price per certificate in euros, so you can model a different price without changing anything else.
The CBAM Costs card repeats the price in use next to its total ("Total @ €75.28/CBAM-Certificate"), so the basis of the figure is always visible.
While the Dashboard refreshes
When you apply a filter, an overlay and loading indicator appear over the cards while the visualisations refresh, so it is always clear whether the numbers on screen are up to date.
Before your first imports
Until at least one import exists, the filter bar is visible but disabled, and the Dashboard shows its empty state with a Go to Import Section button. Once imports exist the filters become active. If a filter combination simply returns no imports, the layout stays the same and the cards show zero values.
Tips
- Compare the same period in Default and Actual & Default to quantify how much collected supplier data reduces your predicted certificates and costs.
- Use the Company filter to review one importer at a time, and the Supplier filter when preparing supplier outreach.
- Use quarter filters during the year to track collection progress, and the year filter for the annual picture.
