Sourcing
Sourcing lets you compare CBAM costs across countries, suppliers, and emission data before you import a good, so you can plan procurement around the real carbon cost rather than just the purchase price. For any good, it shows what importing it from each country would cost under CBAM, surfaces the lowest-cost option automatically, and lets you model how costs change with the calculation year, certificate price, and volume. You'll find it under Procurement → Sourcing. It's built for sourcing and procurement teams planning where to buy. It's currently part of the CBAM module, so it appears when you're working with a CBAM-enabled customer.
For calculation years from 2026 onward, the comparison identifies goods by their Production Route (shown as letter — name) in place of the earlier Production Method; comparisons for earlier years continue to use Production Method.
