Manage Companies & Production Facilities
Managing your companies and production facilities in kolum helps you keep your workspace organized while ensuring your data is accurate for tracking production and reporting activities. Your companies in kolum represent the legal entities within your organization. This is where you maintain company-specific information, ensuring the correct structure for managing your operations and reporting accurately. Your production facilities are the physical locations where your organization's goods are produced. Managing your production facilities in kolum allows you to link each facility with the articles it produces, supporting clear emissions tracking and data collection directly from your production sites. Production facilities are managed directly from each company's detail page rather than from a separate sidebar section; see the company detail page below.
Keeping your companies and facilities organized in kolum helps your team:
- Ensure each article is correctly linked to where it was produced.
- Maintain clear, structured records that align with your organizational hierarchy.
- Support efficient data collection and reporting across your production operations.
- Stay prepared as your team manages emissions and supply chain data.
The Companies overview table
The Companies overview table lists all the companies in your organization with the following columns:
- Identifier: the company's identifier (for example COM-1), shown as the first column, in front of EORI Number. It is the same value shown on the company detail page, generated automatically when a company is created or supplied by you on create or upload, and it matches the mandatory first column of the companies bulk-upload template, so you can resolve identifiers at a glance when preparing or checking upload files.
- EORI Number
- Name
- City
- Country
- Active Customs Modules
Use the View control to choose which columns are visible, including the Identifier column.
The company detail page
Opening a company shows an Associations tab (alongside the company's other tabs), where production facilities linked to that company are managed directly:
- Each facility's name, ID, and city/country are listed, with a link through to view or edit its details in place; there is no longer a separate facility edit page.
- An Add New action links a new production facility to the company directly from this tab, and bulk facility upload (previously reached from a standalone Production Facilities sidebar page) is now started from the Companies page as well.
- A Delete button with a confirmation dialog lets you remove the company directly from its detail page, without first entering Edit mode.
The company detail page opens on the tab matching your currently selected regulation module (CBAM or EUDR); switch tabs manually if you need a different one.

A company can be deleted straight from its detail page with a confirmation dialog, and the detail page opens on the tab that matches the regulation module you are working in.
