CBAM Readiness

CBAM Readiness tells you, company by company, whether you fall under CBAM in a given year and how many certificates you will need. It is the one place on the Dashboard that looks at whole calendar years, because the CBAM 50 t threshold is assessed per year and per importer.

The collapsed summary

The block sits directly below the filter bar and is collapsed by default. Its header shows a one-line summary for the selected year: how many companies you have and how many of them are affected by CBAM, the total CBAM-relevant import volume in tonnes, and the total number of required CBAM certificates (for example "39 companies (9 affected) · 47,581.1 t · 86,486 certificates").

The per-company table

Expand the block to see one row per company with four columns:

• Company: the importing company.
• Import Threshold: the company's CBAM-relevant import volume in the selected year, shown as a progress bar towards the 50 t threshold with the figures next to it (for example 4,010 / 50 t). A full bar means the company exceeds the threshold and falls under CBAM.
• Gathered Actual Emission Data: the share of the company's imports that is covered by actual emission data from suppliers.
• Required CBAM Certificates: the number of CBAM certificates the company needs for the year. Companies below the 50 t threshold show 0 certificates.

A total row at the bottom shows the number of companies, the total import volume, the volume-weighted share of actual emission data and the total number of required certificates.

Year selector and data basis

• CBAM Readiness has its own year selector at the top right of the block. It defaults to the current calendar year and does not follow the time filter in the filter bar, so you can check a year's exposure without changing the rest of the page.
• The block follows the Emission Data filter in the filter bar. With Default selected, certificates are calculated from EU default values; with Actual & Default, the supplier data you have collected is used wherever it exists.

Tips

• Companies close to the 50 t line deserve attention early in the year: a few more shipments can bring them into scope.
• Use the actual data share to decide where supplier outreach pays off; a company with high volume and a low share is the best candidate.
• Collapse the block again when you are done so the charts below stay in view.
