Client Admin

Overview

The Client Admin has the broadest access in kolum. This role manages the entire workspace: all companies, all production facilities, all users, and all module data, including PPWR.

What a Client Admin can do

• Create, edit, and delete companies and production facilities.
• Invite users, assign roles, and manage access.
• Run PPWR applicability checks for any company and read the resulting obligations.
• Add and maintain packaging items, classifications, and attributes.
• Manage supplier information, substance data, and technical documentation.
• Generate and manage Declarations of Conformity.

Who this role suits

Compliance leads, sustainability managers, and system owners who are accountable for the whole workspace.

Tips

• Keep the number of Client Admins small. Broad access should follow real responsibility.
• Pair at least two Client Admins so administration never depends on one person.

ℹ️ Regulatory context. The declaration and documentation duties under the regulation sit with the legal entity; the Client Admin is usually the person who ensures those duties are staffed and completed. See Regulation (EU) 2025/40.
