Non-EU Manufacturers
Overview
This section will guide non-EU manufacturers and suppliers who provide packaging or packaged goods to EU companies working with kolum. A supplier-facing PPWR experience, where your EU customers can invite you to share packaging-relevant information directly in kolum, is on the kolum roadmap.
🟢 Coming Soon. The PPWR module does not yet include supplier-facing features. This section will be filled in when they ship. Until then, your EU customers manage the packaging data for the goods you supply on their side of kolum.
What you can expect here later
- Accepting an invitation from an EU customer and signing in.
- Providing packaging-relevant information for the goods you supply, such as material composition and substance data.
- Understanding what your EU customers need from you and why.
ℹ️ Regulatory context. PPWR obligations fall on the economic operators placing packaging on the EU market, so your EU customers carry the registration, documentation, and declaration duties. What they need from you is the upstream evidence behind their packaging: material composition, substance compliance, and technical details. See Regulation (EU) 2025/40.
