Accept an invitation and sign in
Overview
You join kolum when an EU customer invites you. This page covers accepting that invitation and signing in for the first time.
🟢 Why this matters. Connecting to your customer is what lets you receive their data requests and send data back securely, instead of exchanging files by email.
Before you start
- An invitation email from your EU customer. If you have not received one, ask your customer to invite you (they do this from their supplier record for your company).
Step by step
- Open the invitation email from your customer and select the link to join.
- Set up your sign-in details when prompted.
- Sign in to kolum. You arrive at your account, connected to the customer who invited you.
Tips
- Use a shared, monitored email for the primary contact, so invitations and requests are not missed if one person is away.
Troubleshooting
- I did not receive an invitation. Ask your customer to check the contact email on their record for your company and resend it.
- The link does not work. Ask your customer to send a fresh invitation.
ℹ️ Regulatory context. Connecting lets your customer collect the due diligence data the EUDR requires directly from you. See the consolidated EUDR text.
