Understanding User Roles
kolum provides different user roles to ensure proper access control and separation of duties across your organization. Each role is designed with specific responsibilities and access levels to support your work with your EU customers and emissions data management. Understanding these roles will help you effectively organize your team for clear, efficient collaboration with your EU customers on emissions transparency.
Roles are set per user and apply to your whole kolum account: a person has one role, and that role gives the same permissions in CBAM, EUDR and PPWR. The six roles below are the ones offered in the role picker when you invite or edit a user, and they are shown, together with your company, in the sidebar footer once you are signed in.

- Invite users and assign all role types.
- Access all emissions data and reporting data relevant to your EU customers.
