Upload a document
Overview
This page covers adding a document to your library. Once uploaded, a document can be tagged to risk criteria and reused across many buyer requests, so you upload it once rather than attaching a file each time.
🟢 Why this matters. Your documents are the evidence behind your buyers' assessments. A well-maintained library means you can answer requests fast and consistently. See the consolidated EUDR text.
Before you start
- The document file (for example a certificate, audit report, or policy).
- Its validity date, if it has one.
Step by step
- Go to Documents and select Upload Document.
- Choose the file and give it a type (for example Compliance Certificate, Risk Assessment, or Certification).
- Set its validity date if it has one.
- Tag it against the relevant risk criteria (see Tag documents to the risk criteria).
- Save. The document appears in your library, ready to attach to requests.
Tips
- Give documents clear names so buyers can see at a glance what each one is.
- Tag on upload, so the document is immediately reusable.
Troubleshooting
- The file will not upload. Check the file size and format against the limits shown on the upload screen.
ℹ️ Regulatory context. Documents support the information and risk-assessment requirements the EUDR places on your buyer (Articles 9 and 10). See the consolidated EUDR text.
