Tag documents to the risk criteria
Overview
Tagging a document against the EUDR risk criteria is what makes it reusable. A document tagged to a criterion can be attached automatically wherever a buyer request needs that criterion, so you maintain it once and reuse it everywhere.
🟢 Why this matters. Your buyers assess risk against 14 criteria. Tagging your documents to the matching criteria lets them see exactly which evidence supports which criterion, which speeds up their assessment. See the consolidated EUDR text.
The criteria framework
kolum shows you the same 14-criterion framework (a to n) that your buyers use on the EU side, grouped into Geographic and Country Risk, Indigenous People, Documentation and Supply Chain, Compliance and Enforcement, and Additional Information. For what each criterion means, see The 14 risk criteria.
Step by step
- In Documents, open the document (or do this while uploading).
- Select the criteria the document supports. A document can be tagged to more than one, for example (a) Country Risk and (l) Compliance History.
- Save.
Tips
- Tag thoroughly. The more accurately a document is tagged, the more requests it can answer without extra work.
- A certificate often supports several criteria; do not stop at one tag if more apply.
