Get request-ready
Overview
The best way to answer requests quickly is to be ready before they arrive. This page shows how to prepare, so that when a buyer sends a request, answering takes minutes.
🟢 Why this matters. A request usually holds up a shipment. If your data is already in place, you answer immediately instead of scrambling to gather it under time pressure. See the consolidated EUDR text.
Prepare in advance
- Add your production locations. Enter the plots where your goods are produced in Production Locations, so they are ready to attach.
- Build your document library. Upload your compliance documents in Documents, tagged to the risk criteria so they are reusable.
- Keep everything current. Renew documents before they expire, and update plots if they change.
When a request arrives
With your locations and documents already saved, answering is mostly selecting and reusing what you have. You complete the four-step wizard quickly, and your buyer gets a clean, complete response.
Tips
- Set aside time once to build your library and plots; it pays back on every future request.
- Review your documents' expiry dates regularly, so nothing lapses when you need it.
